Does that mean...?

I just had a crazy idea.

"...And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose..." Romans 8:28

I know God won't cause bad things to happen to people, like God causing someone to be sick. He doesn't roll that way. He's our father and wants the best for us, so why make us sick? So, if all things God works, are for the good of those who love him...does that mean he won't stop bad things from happening? Some things need to happen, like someone getting sick, for it to be the best? Does that make sense?

I don't know, just a crazy idea I had while I was munching on my cap'n'crunch.

  1. The KJV phrases it like "And we know that all things work together for good to them who love God..."

Sometimes it doesn't seem like it at first, but we can always trust that the end result is always good and according to His plan. When God means all things he means good and bad. He uses our ups and down to mold us and teach us!
